NageshSrini – CEO
Nagesh has played a leading role in the global information technology industry for more than 20 years, managing divisions and business units for various Corporations in India and the United States. He has been instrumental in formulating the company’s strategy, global delivery, marketing and sales, business development, client services, building and managing the organization’s development centers in India and USA.
Nagesh holds a Harvard Business School, Executive Education Certificate and a Bachelors degree in Engineering – Instrumental Technology from Mysore University.
Shankar Krishna – COO
Shankar has been in the services industry for the past 20 years with extensive experience in Marketing, Advertising and IT Professional Services. Shankar joined Ideaon in 2007 and has been instrumental in leveraging Ideaon’s capabilities and channelizing them into unique customer value to our clients. He has extensive experience in setting up offshore delivery centers and processes for many companies. Shankar handles business development, corporate strategy and global project delivery for various revenue streams at Ideaon.
Prior to joining Ideaon, Shankar held multiple brand and account management positions at companies handling advertisement and marketing for IBM & Compaq. He holds an MBA from TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal.
Sheryl McDaniel-Burrell – DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC ALLIANCES
Sheryl received her bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Pacific. For the next decade she worked as a manufacturing engineer for electronic manufacturing companies and printed circuit board companies in the Silicon Valley. Her career evolved as she took on the roles of program managers and project manager in that industry. After two decades of working on the hardware side of the industry, she switched to software and IT sales. Sheryl was a natural fit at Ideaon, first as the alliance manager and now, as the director of strategic alliances.
Dr. Shankaran Sitarama – CTO
Dr. Sitarama is an eminent technologist . He has over 2 decades of experience. He did his PhD in Collaborative Learning from
UC-Berkeley and has been intimately involved in the e-Learning field and related technologies. He has been working on state-of-the-art learning systems, and brings invaluable knowledge and insight into theories of learning as well as the practical implementation of it.
Shankaran has been a member of standards committees concerning the broader learning field. He has also contributed significantly to the development of Sakai Project (www.sakaiproject.org) an open source academic collaborative learning platform.
Shankaran completed his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, and double MS from Universities of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and University of California, Berkeley, before he went on to do his PhD from UC Berkeley.
Dan Zimmerman – Adviser
25 years in Leadership positions on submarines and training in the US Navy
Successfully trained over 5000 personnel prior to military deployments to ensure safety and competence.
Clearance: Top Secret/ Special Compartmented Information with Personal Reliability Program (TS/SCI with PRP)
As a naval instructor for 22 years, he developed curriculum using the Instructional Learning System; training the trainers that taught over 5000 seamen per annum
Dan lends his immense expertise in the Learning industry and Government to us.
Sukumar Shankaran is our director of content development services and heads our development centre in Bangalore, India. He has over 20 years experience in various roles in the industry. He has been involved with learning services in general with a particular emphasis on Instructional Design for the past over 10 years now.
Sukumar enjoys architecting and overseeing the delivery of customized learning solutions for solving unique business problems. He believes quite strongly that corporate learning has to focus on understanding and solving business problems than be fixated on pure “learning” domain considerations. He was previously headed the Corporate Planning function at Infosys Ltd, an IT services giant.
He is a mechanical engineer by qualification and has a management degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, India.
